Xu Fengzhen, General Manager of Beer Town, presided over the ceremony. Distinguished guests witnessed this exciting moment together, including Luo Baohua, Member of the Standing Committee of the Chun’an County Party Committee and Deputy County Magistrate; Zheng Xiaofeng, Chairman of Hangzhou Qiandao Lake Beer Co., Ltd.; Qian Jiang, Director of the Management Committee of Chun’an Economic Development Zone; Xu Yong, Director of Chun’an Bureau of Economy, Science and Technology; Huang Hongting, Director of Chun’an Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports; Zhou Feng, renowned installation artist, Guinness World Record holder and creator of Chariots of Qiandao, as well as leaders and staff of Hangzhou Qiandao Lake Beer Co., Ltd.
As a new landmark of Beer Town, Chariots of Qiandao integrates artistic, mechanical and beer cultural elements, attracting numerous tourists and media representatives to attend the ceremony.
Highlights of the Unveiling Ceremony
At the ceremony, Zheng Xiaofeng, Chairman of Hangzhou Qiandao Lake Beer Co., Ltd., delivered an enthusiastic speech, elaborating on the creative background and profound implications of the sculpture Chariots of Qiandao. He noted that the sculpture is far more than an artwork; it stands as a symbol of the culture and spirit of Qiandao Lake Beer Town.
Subsequently, Zhou Feng, creator of Chariots of Qiandao, celebrated installation artist and world record holder, shared his creative inspiration and production process with all attendees.
At 11:18 a.m., amid warm applause, Luo Baohua, Zheng Xiaofeng, Qian Jiang, Xu Yong, Huang Hongting and artist Zhou Feng jointly unveiled Chariots of Qiandao. As the red curtain slowly fell, the sculpture was revealed to the public, presenting a spectacular kinetic installation performance for all on-site guests.
A Symbol of Culture and Spirit
The sculpture Chariots of Qiandao features two powerful horses pulling a huge bronze wine barrel. Ingeniously constructed from recycled mechanical components, it showcases mechanical power and exquisite craftsmanship. Built-in audio, lighting and mechanical motion systems endow the sculpture with vitality, making it a stunning attraction within Beer Town.
Going forward, continuous element innovation and iterative upgrades will turn Chariots of Qiandao into a well-known new cultural tourism landmark across Qiandao Lake and the whole country.

Beyond its distinctive design, Chariots of Qiandao conveys eco-friendly concepts through its material selection.
By creatively reusing discarded mechanical spare parts, these components gain new life through secondary creation. The sculpture achieves a perfect balance of ecology and sustainability, emerging as an iconic work blending art and environmental protection in Beer Town.
