Good News | Cheerday Wins Multiple Awards at China International Beer Challenge & Australian International Beer Awards
Release Time :2023-07-15 Back To ListThe 2023 CBC China International Beer Challenge has concluded successfully. The list of winners was unveiled at the awards party on July 14. Qiandao Lake Belgian Wheat stood out among 2,827 entries and claimed the Two-Star Tianlu Award.


This edition set new records in competition scale and number of judges. A total of 66 judges (22 panels) took part in the evaluation, including national-level beer tasters, BJCP certified judges and returning jurors from previous China International Beer Challenge events.
The competition received 2,827 valid entries, hitting an all-time high and reflecting widespread recognition from participating breweries and individual brewers. An online scoring system was adopted to deliver scientific, systematic and impartial assessment for all submitted beers to decide Tianlu Award winners in each category.

Qiandao Lake’s craft beer — Belgian Wheat — was honored with the Two-Star Tianlu Award.

And the accolades do not end here!
Qiandao Lake Beer also earned awards at the 2023 Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA). On the competition’s 30th anniversary, our beers competed against 2,829 entries globally and brought home 2 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze Medal.



Officially named Melbourne Royal Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA), it is recognized as the world’s largest beer competition judging both packaged and draught beer.
Renowned for selecting and celebrating the highest-quality brews, the competition is open to breweries of all sizes, ranging from small craft operations to large-scale commercial producers.
Three craft beers from Qiandao Lake Beer — Dark Beer, Belgian Wheat and Misery Love — claimed Silver and Bronze Medals respectively.



Winning such prestigious honors across multiple international beer competitions stands as high recognition of Qiandao Lake Beer’s quality by consumers and brewing professionals worldwide.
